Loverdos removed as KINAL spokesman

Former socialist minister Andreas Loverdos has been removed from the post of Movement for Change (KINAL) parliamentary spokesman.

The decision was announced to him Tuesday by the leader of the center-left alliance, Fofi Gennimata.

According to reports, relations between the two had cooled after Loverdos made known his intention to run for the leadership of KINAL.

KINAL snubs SYRIZA overture

One day after SYRIZA's overture to the Movement for Change (KINAL), the center-left coalition led by Fofi Gennimata on Thursday rejected the idea of working with the leftist opposition ahead of the next election.
"Rumors about discussions with SYRIZA are no longer valid," KINAL spokesman Pavlos Christidis told a press briefing.

Mitsotakis briefs opposition leaders Tsipras, Gennimata on developments with coronavirus

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held an e-meeting with SYRIZA's main opposition leader Alexis Tsipras on Monday evening, and later with Movement for Change (KINAL) leader Fofi Gennimata, to brief them on the developments concerning the coronavirus outbreak in Greece.
