PM seeks consensus on foreign policy, his office says
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis seeks consensus on major issues, especially those that concern foreign policy, his office said Friday after the completion of a series of meetings with the leaders of opposition parties during which he briefed them on the results of his visit to the United States, where mounting tension with Turkey topped the agenda.

Lawmakers approve changes in penal code
Greek MPs approved in principle on Wednesday night a Justice Ministry bill revising the penal code with stricter penalties for migrant trafficking, rape and child abuse.
The legislation was backed by ruling New Democracy, Movement for Change (KINAL) and far-right Greek Solution, while main opposition SYRIZA, the Communist Party and MeRA25 voted it down.

PASOK to hold congress Nov. 23-24
PASOK, Greece's once-dominant socialist party, will hold an extraordinary party congress at the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF) in Neo Faliro on November 23 and 24, the party's congress organizing committee said.
Works will open at 5 p.m. on Saturday with an address by party leader Fofi Gennimata and conclude on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will meet with the leaders of the opposition on Friday in a bid to find common ground over a government bill that will facilitate the vote of Greeks living abroad.
