World theater companies to take stage in Istanbul
The 26th Istanbul Theater Festival is all set to amuse its visitors by presenting 24 plays and dance performances from Türkiye and abroad beginning from Oct. 25 to Nov. 26.

“Mowgli girl” found in India! (video)
An 8-year-old girl was found living in the jungle in India living with monkeys and acting like an animal. The “Mowgli girl”, who was discovered by police, reportedly communicates with screeches and walks on all fours and was living in a remote nature reserve in Bahraich, northern India. She has already been dubbed the “Mowgli girl” due to the similarities of her story with the Jungle Book.

Real children who were raised by animals! (video)
Most of us have probably either read about the story of Mowgli, the boy raised by animals and living in the jungle. He is the fictional character and the star of The Jungle Book stories. But that’s just a fairytale, you might think. Well the idea of feral children might sound unbelievable, but in fact there have been instances of real children being raised by wild animals.

'Jungle Book' triumphs, as 'Keanu' stumbles
"The Jungle Book" steamrolled over a trio of box office lightweights, racking up $42.4 million to lead tickets sales for the third consecutive weekend. Disney's live action adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's Mowgli stories has made $252.1 million since opening last month.

A girl-power makeover in remake of 'Jungle Book'
One of the best-loved animated films of all-time, "The Jungle Book" boasted iconic songs and a cast that ensured it would be revered as a milestone in Hollywood history. But for all its virtues, Disney's 1967 version of Rudyard Kipling's tale of an orphan raised by wolves lacked the one thing you'd be sure to find in the jungle -- the female of the species.
