ISIS weapons seized by Greek Coast Guard
The Greek Coast Guard seized a ship on Tuesday carrying ammunition and weapons near the southern island of Crete, reports the Associated Press. The shipment is believed to be linked to the Islamic State group in Libya however this has neither been confirmed or denied by the local authorities.

Turkey annulled a memorandum of agreement with Libya from 2009 waiving visas for nationals of both countries, with Libyan citizens having to apply for a visa to travel to Turkey as of Sept. 24, Tanju Bilgiç told reporters on Aug. 27.

Saif al-Islam, a son of Libya's slain leader Col Muammar Gaddafi, has been sentenced to death over war crimes a Libyan court believes he committed during the 2011 uprising.
Eight other senior members of Gaddafi's regime have also been sentenced including former intelligence chief Abdullah Senussi.
Saif al-Islam's death sentence will be performed by a firing squad.
