The legendary English rock band will be joining the lineup of this year's Rockwave Festival. Cited in the Guinness Book of World Records as the loudest band, Deep Purple comprised one part of the "unholy trinity" of hard rock and metal music back in the 1970s, along with Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.

Waterboys | Athens | June 22

British-Irish folk rock band the Waterboys are coming back to Greece this summer for another electrifying show. The Big Music outfit formed in 1983 and known for hits including "The Whole of the Moon" will be performing at the Herod Atticus Theater as part of the Athens-Epidaurus Festival. Beekeeper uses ‘cannon sound device’ to keep bears away

A man from the Black Sea province of Rize has developed a time-cycled mechanism that makes unpleasant sounds to scare away bears that haunt his beehives.

Muharrem Çelik, who is engaged in beekeeping in the Derecik village of Rize, took action against wild bears that woke up from hibernation, descended to the region and smashed their hives.

Belgian singer-songwriter Maarten Devoldere, known as the frontman of Balthazar, comes to Greece as a solo act, Warhaus, to perform at Thessaloniki's WE venue (weskg.gr) and Athens' Gazarte (gazarte.gr) the following night. With romantic rock music that has been described as "dark and sexy," the act will be performing tracks from his last album, 2022's "Ha Ha Heartbreak" and older tunes.
