Moldovan Apologises For ‘Unfortunate’ Confiscation of Violinist’s Stradivarius
Moldova's Culture Minister has apologised for customs officers' "excess zeal" after they confiscated internationally awarded violinist Alexandra Conunova's Stradivarius violin at the airport.
Customs employees at Chisinau Airport filed a criminal case against the famous Moldovan violinist for not declaring the instrument's value, estimated 2 million euros, to Customs Services.

Visually impaired man runs 13 km every day with cane in hand
With a cane in hand and a handbell, a 43-year-old visually impaired man runs some 13 kilometers a day on the Caddebostan coastal road in Istanbul, despite the crowd.
"I tour this beach three times every evening. It is necessary to remain hopeful and accept life the way it is," Erkan Pehlivanoğlu told Demirören News Agency.

Jivan Gasparyan dies aged 93
Jivan Gasparyan, who is a world-famous Armenian composer, musician and one of the well-known duduk masters, died on July 6 at the age of 93, his grandson, Jivan Gasparyan Jr., announced on Facebook.
