India rocks to Asia’s first Lollapalooza festival

One of the world's longest-running festivals kicked off in Mumbai Saturday for the Indian financial hub's biggest music extravaganza since the end of the pandemic. 

Lollapalooza's arrival in Mumbai is the first time the festival has been staged in Asia after branching out from its American origins in the past decade.

Slovenian artist wins Music Moves Europe award

Slovenian artist July Jones is one of the five recipients of the Music Moves Europe Award, handed out at the Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) festival in Groeningen, the Netherlands. The award, which comes with a €10,000 prize, is to support artists in their careers.

The list of previous winners includes artists such as Dua Lipa, Hozier and Stromae.
