Mytilineos calls for EU energy price ceiling
European Union authorities should place a ceiling on energy prices for energy-consuming industries each time prices skyrocket and cover the cost from EU funds or member-states, Εvangelos Mytilineos, president of Eurometaux and CEO/chairman of Mytilineos Energy & Metals, said in an interview with Politico.

Mytilineos raises share buyback price ceiling

Mytilineos signs UK power plant deal
Mytilineos on Thursday announced the signing of a contract for the development of an open-cycle gas turbine (OCGT) power plant project in Immingham, North Lincolnshire in England, for VPI Immingham-B LLP (VPI-B), a non-consolidated group entity of Vitol.
The contract signed by Mytilineos consists of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of a 299-megawatt OCGT plant.

Mytilineos posts greatly improved 2022 results
Athens-listed group Mytilineos said on Thursday its profit, turnover and dividend more than doubled while its debt declined and investments increased in 2022.
More specifically, net profit after minorities increased by 187% to 466 million euros from €162 million in 2021.
Respectively, earnings per share came in at €3.41, an increase of 186% compared to 2021.
