Greek stocks end positive, very quietly

Thursday's session on the Athens Stock Exchange was even more subdued than recent days, if that is possible.

In the end, the general index, which had been showing mild losses throughout, tipped over into positive territory, closing at 637.27 points, a gain of 0.36%. Late gains in OTE Telecom were the main reason.

Turnover was €23.61 million on volume of 16,373,894 shares.

Mytilineos posts 47.8 pct rise in 2019 turnover

The Athens-listed Mytilineos group on Thursday announced a 47.8 percent rise in turnover last year and 2.6 percent growth in net profits on an annual basis.
It said its 2019 turnover reached 2.256 billion euros, from 1.526 billion euros in 2018, supported by the strong growth achieved by its power and gas unit.

Seven bidders for Thessaloniki port pier extension project

Seven companies and consortia have expressed interest in undertaking the work for the extension of Thessaloniki port's sixth pier, at the end of the pre-selection stage of the tender.
The extension will enable the port to accommodate "Super Post New Panamax" high-capacity vessels, and carries a provisional budget of 130 million euros (exclusive of VAT).
