Festival in Sofia Brings Animated Films from all over the World

276 cartoons, 32 of them Bulgarian, participate in the Golden Kuker Film Festival in Sofia. It begins on May 7, and there will be free screenings.

For the ninth time, Golden Kuker presents the best animations from 94 countries, including Bulgaria. Viewers will experience exciting stories and an impressive vision created with all the means of expression of fine arts and cinema.

Second Bulgarian Woman Detained For Terrorism is Released

According to information from the operational headquarters, under the direction of Ambassador Nadezhda Neynsky, Bulgarian citizen detained in Turkey M. J. A.  has been released from detention. She was banned from leaving the country. She is accused of "propaganda of terrorist organizations", reported BGNES.

Former Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nadezhda Neynsky has said one of her main goals as incoming Ambassador to Turkey will be to look for bilateral solutions on how to bolster control at the common borders.

Neynsky is to take over Sofia's mission in Ankara "very soon", though no date has yet been specified.

Cabinet Proposes Former Foreign Minister as New Bulgarian Ambassador to Turkey

The government proposed the former Foreign Minister Nadezhda Neynsky to be appointed as the Bulgarian ambassador to Turkey.

The decision was taken at the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers, which took place on Wednesday, the government's press service informs.

The nomination will be forwarded to President Rosen Plevneliev, who has to issue a decree on her appointment.
