CHP leader to run for president if Nation Alliance wants
Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on May 4 said he would agree to run for president in the next elections if the Nation Alliance would ask him.
"We have a Nation Alliance. If the Alliance says, 'You will be [our presidential candidate],' then I will be," he said while speaking to Yeniçağ TV.
President Erdoğan, MHP leader have iftar together
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli had an iftar, or fast-breaking, meal on April 15.
The two leaders convened at an Uzbek tent of the Presidency for dinner.

CHP leader may consider becoming presidential candidate: İYİ Party head
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), may be a candidate in Turkey's 2023 presidential election, an opposition politician said on April 14.
