Committee approves lex specialis, Democrats against
BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament's finance committee approved on Thursday a bill governing the expropriation of land and the issuance of building permits for the Belgrade Waterfront project, despite opposition from the Democrats.
The Serbian parliament will discuss this lex specialis at the sitting scheduled to take place on March 18.
Defence and Internal Affairs Committee condemns attacks
NOVI SAD - The Serbian parliament condemned on Tuesday the attacks on the property of members of national minorities and called on the government to firmly deal with the individuals who committed the attacks which constitute an incitement to ethnic hatred.

BELGRADE - Zoran Babic, caucus whip of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) as the central party in the government coalition, stated on Sunday that the information of security services shows that only a dozen Serbian citizens or several dozens at most are fighting on battlefields abroad.
