The competitiveness of the Greek economy is almost stable
Greece's position in terms of competitiveness fell by just one position compared to last year, according to data from Swiss-based International Institute for Management Development (IMD) published today. The country is now in 47th place in the relevant ranking, falling from 46th place last year, among 63 countries.
Turkey falling behind in competitiveness index
According to the Global Competitiveness Index released by World Economic Forum (WEF), Turkey has fallen 10 places compared to two years ago.
While our country was in the 45th slot in 2014-2015, Turkey was in 51st place last year out of 140 countries, while in the 2016-2017 index Turkey is in 55th slot.

Bulgaria Ranks 54th in 2014-2015 Global Competitiveness Report of World Economic Forum
Bulgaria ranks 54th out of a total of 144 countries in The Global Competitiveness Report 2014-2015 of the World Economic Forum.
For a third year in a row, Bulgaria has improved its score.
In the 2014-2015 edition of the report, Bulgaria outperforms a number of EU countries, including Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia and Greece.
