Senate adopts draft law on hoisting of the Romanian flag
Bucharest, May 4 /Agerpres/ - The Senate's plenum adopted on Tuesday a draft law initiated by liberal senators that completes the regulations on the hoisting of the Romanian flag, the playing of the national anthem and the use of seals with the country's coat of arms by public authorities and institutions.

President Klaus Iohannis conveyed on Wednesday a message on the occasion of the National Flag Day, in which he shows that the tricolour represents a cementer of the past, present and future. "Today, we are celebrating the National Flag Day, which, for more than 170 years has represented, for the Romanians everywhere, a symbol of our national identity, independence, sovereignty and unity.
Serbia's floor installation at Venice Biennale
BELGRADE - Serbia will be presented by the project entitled Ujedinjene mrtve nacije (United Dead Nations) by Lidija Merenik and Ivan Grubanov at the 56th Venice Biennale, it was stated at Wednesday's press conference.
This will be a floor installation made of 100 national flags of the countries which ceased to exist during the 120 year-long history of the Venice Biennale.
