A Turkish court has ruled to keep in custody two Greek soldiers who were detained in Turkey in March Hurriyet newspaper reported on Tuesday, in a case that has escalated tensions between the two neighboring NATO allies.

A key suspect of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) was brought back to Turkey as part of operations against the group, security sources told state-run Anadolu Agency on July 15.

Two suspected members of the network of U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, referred to by the authorities as the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), were brought to Istanbul by the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) on July 12.

The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on May 17 issued detention warrants for 101 Turkish military personnel, including one brigadier and several colonels, over suspected links to the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ). 

At least 111 people were detained on May 3 across Turkey over their suspected links to the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), the group believed to have been behind the July 2016 defeated coup, according to security sources.

At least 63 suspects were detained across Turkey for their suspected links to the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), according to security sources on April 28. 

A total of 4,167 people accused of having links to the Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ) in 110 countries are being investigated by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT), a public prosecutor's office said on April 19.

Six people suspected of links to the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ) were brought from the Balkans to Turkey in an operation carried out by the National Intelligence Agency (MIT) on March 29, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported. 

Turkey’s intelligence service will report to the president from Friday, the Official Gazette said.

The government issued two major new state of emergency decrees on Aug. 25, making big changes to the organizational structure of the National Intelligence Agency (MİT) by bringing it under the authority of the president and re-activating intelligence gathering activities within the military.
