MİT neutralizes senior PKK member in Iraq’s north
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized a senior PKK member who was responsible for the health services of the terrorist organization for a year in northern Iraq.
According to local media, MİT started monitoring Ökkeş Deveri, codenamed "Kendal Pirsus," recently in the Gara region and conducted a surgical attack against him "at the proper time and place."

The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized Vedat Aksaç, a terrorist who was in the so-called PKK's "hit squad," in northern Iraq, Demirören News Agency has reported.
Two other terrorists were neutralized in an operation on Sept. 5.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said he was always open to meeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as tensions between the two historical rivals mount.
The two uneasy neighbors have for years feuded over maritime borders and energy exploration rights in disputed parts of the Aegean and in the eastern Mediterranean.

The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized another senior PKK terrorist in northern Iraq, Demirören News Agency has reported.
"Bedirhan Abi, codenamed 'Darav Gevda' has been killed in Sinjar," the agency wrote on Sept. 4.
