Scarlett Johansson and fiance welcome baby girl
Scarlett Johansson is a first-time mom.
A spokesman for the 29-year-old actress told The Associated Press Sept. 4 that Johansson and her fiance, Romain Dauriac, have welcomed a baby girl, whom they've named Rose.

Joan Rivers, queen of US 'comediennes,' dies aged 81
Joan Rivers, the caustic stand-up comic and television host who blazed a trail at a time when comedy was all but off-limits to women, died in New York on Thursday. She was 81.
The award-winning star had been in Mount Sinai Hospital since August 28, when she reportedly stopped breathing during a medical procedure on her vocal cords at a clinic in New York.
Sofia Vergara tops TV actress rich list
"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara is the highest-paid US TV actress for the third year in a row, earning some $37 million, according to a 2014 list published Wednesday.
The 42-year-old earned significantly more than the top paid actor, Ashton Kutcher, who made some $26 million, according to Forbes magazine, known for celebrity and other rich lists.

Member of audiovisual watchdog indicted for influence peddling
Anticorruption prosecutors have indicted Narcisa Iorga, a member of the National Audiovisual Council (CNA, broadcast media supervising authority) for influence peddling or abuse of authority for personal or third party profits, in a case also involving Viorel Hrebenciuc, a parliament member of the Social Democratic Party.
Program of Antalya Piano Fest announced

Nude photos purportedly showing many top stars, including Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence and pop star Rihanna, bounced around social media on Aug. 31, in an apparent massive hacking leak, U.S. media reported. âItâs so weird and hard how people take your privacy away from you,â Lawrence said in a tweet. The actressâ agent, meanwhile, vowed to take legal action.

Brangelina Got Married In France
Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were married Saturday in Chateau Miraval, France, says a spokesman for the couple told AP.
Jolie and Pitt wed Saturday in a small chapel in a private ceremony attended by family and friends, according to the spokesman.
