The Distinguished Visitors Day of Multinational Exercise NOBLE JUMP 2021 (NOJP21) is organized on Tuesday, at the "Getica" National Joint Training Center (CNII), in Cincu, Brasov County.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization will hold military exercises dubbed Steadfast Defender 21 which will involve up to 9,000 servicemen, will be held on NATO's southern wing, in particular Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Portugal, between May 20 and June 22 and will train redeployment of reinforcements from the US, Vice Chief of Staff at NATO Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE),

The Polish army will take charge of the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF) of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), said the organization in a statement on Dec. 30. 

Poland will take over the duty from Germany on Jan.1, 2020 and will hand over to Turkey in 2021.

NATO head Jens Stoltenberg said June 22 the alliance will approve plans this week to more than double the size of its rapid response force, having already created a special spearhead unit in the fallout from the Ukraine crisis.

The TRIDENT JOUST 15 military exercise, conducted by the Allied Joint Force Command Naples personnel, which is in charge with the NATO Response Force this year, will start on Wednesday on the Cincu Range in Brasov County and will end on June 28.

Nobody should underestimate NATO?s rapid response capacity, which has been ratcheted up in response to worries about Russia?s military ambitions after its actions in Ukraine, according to Germany?s defense minister.

NATO's defence ministers approved at their meeting on Thursday the immediate establishment of six command and control units on its eastern flank.

The six countries that are to host the command centres are Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Romania.

Seven NATO members will create a British-led joint expeditionary force for rapid deployment in response to the crisis in Ukraine, the Financial Times has reported.
