DEPA wins gas supply contract in Moldova
DEPA Commercial is among the winners of an auction for the supply of Moldova with natural gas.
The auction, held by Energocom, covers a significant part of natural gas supply of the Moldovan market during the summer period, with the product to be delivered in the Isaccea/Orlovka interconnection point between Romania and Hungary.

"Bulgargaz" proposed a 15% reduction in the price of gas in June, and the state energy regulator EWRC approved the proposal at its meeting today.

Nicosia eyes shipping corridor for gas exports
Cyprus wants to establish itself as a gateway from East Mediterranean gas resources to Europe via a shipping corridor of LNG carriers, its president said on Monday.
Cyprus' new centrist government, which came to power in February, has cooled to the idea championed by its predecessors of an "EastMed" pipeline transferring gas to Europe.

Chevron ‘positive’ about Israeli-Cypriot plans for natural gas pipeline
Oil and gas company Chevron is "positive" about an Israeli-Cypriot plan for a pipeline that would convey offshore natural gas from both countries to Cyprus where it would be liquefied for export by ship to Europe and elsewhere, an official said Friday.
The Price of Gas in Europe fell to a two-year Low
The price of natural gas fell to a record low on the Dutch stock exchange, whose prices are a reference for trade in Europe, "Reuters" reported.
The price of June gas on the Amsterdam Exchange reached €24.90 per megawatt hour (MWh) in the morning - the lowest level since May 27, 2021.

More natural gas exploration planned in Black Sea: Minister
Türkiye will conduct exploration activities for natural gas off the coast of the province of Ordu in the Black Sea, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez has said.
Drilling in this area will begin by the end of 2023, Dönmez said in an interview with private broadcaster CNN Türk. "We are hoping to find natural gas there."

Nicosia at odds with Eni boss
The Cypriot government says it does not share views on East Med gas made by Eni boss Claudio Descalzi, who told Italian lawmakers an Eastern Mediterranean gas project cannot go forward without Turkey, with Nicosia begging to differ and pointing to other firms willing to take the risk.
