Thessaloniki hit by flooding
Firefighters in Thessaloniki received 300 calls for assistance following flooding in the northern city during the early hours of Saturday morning.
A stream in the Polichni district burst its banks, flooding many homes. Some road tunnels were also flooded and one car had to be towed to safety.

Mainly in the mountainous regions, there will be temporarily intense and significant rainfall locally after noon.
Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes Philippines
A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck the Philippines on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said, but there were no immediate reports of damage.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 112 kilometres (77 miles) at around 10:00 am (0200 GMT) in waters off Calatagan town, about three hours' drive from the capital Manila.

Weather in Bulgaria: Cloudy and Rainy Today
Cloudy weather will prevail today and in some places, mainly in the western half of Bulgaria, there will be short-term rains and thunderstorms.
There will be no precipitation along the Danube. In Eastern Bulgaria, a light wind will blow from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures will be between 23°C and 28°C, in Sofia around 23°C.

Bulgaria: New Earthquake near Plovdiv
Around 3:15 p.m., a new earthquake was registered in Plovdiv.
Its magnitude is 3.4 on the Richter scale, the depth is 8.4 km and the epicenter is again near Asenovgrad. The data is from the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
