Code Yellow warnings for rain with thunderstorms has been issued for 7 Bulgarian regions, according to the website of the National Institute of Metrology and Hydrology.

The weather will be cloudy today with maximum temperatures between 17°C and 22°C, meteorologist Krasimir Stoev of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) told Focus News Agency.

The farmers affected by the hail storm in the village of Balgarene, Pleven district, will be compensated in accordance with the damage assessment, Bulgaria's Minister of Agriculture, Rumen Porozhanov said on May 7 after he examined the damaged crops. A team of specialists started to assess the damages, reports BNT. 

Today, it will be windy and cloudy, with light rain in some places, meteorologist Hristo Hristov of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) told Focus News Agency. Temperatures will be much lower than the usual for the first week of May.
