NBS keeps CCyB rate unchanged

BELGRADE - The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has decided to keep the countercyclical capital buffer (CCyB) rate for the Republic of Serbia at 0 pct and thus continues to support the lending market in an environment of tightened global financing conditions, the central bank has announced.

IMF mission starts visit to Serbia

The mission will be in Belgrade until February 5, Tanjug has reported.

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said the Serbian delegation was led by Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic, while ministers of finance and economy took part in the conversation, said Beta.

Last July, the IMF approved a 30-month Policy Coordination Instrument for Serbia.

BELGRADE - Headed by Governor Jorgovanka Tabakovic, the National Bank of Serbia has over the past five years "achieved and maintained price and financial stability", meeting its "statutory objectives and contributing to the creation of a more stable business environment for the benefit of citizens and the economy," the NBS said Monday.
