Brnabic: Sretenje Constitution proclaimed freedom, independence as our fundamental values
KRAGUJEVAC - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Thursday the 1835 Serbian Constitution, also known as the Sretenje (The Meeting of the Lord) Constitution, had proclaimed freedom, independence and peacefulness as the fundamental values of Serbs.

On May 9, retired Yugoslav Army general Vladimir Lazarevic, a convicted war criminal, headed a World War II Victory Day parade through the streets of the southern Serbian city of Nis. The showpiece event was organised by Russian war veterans with the backing of the Serbian authorities.

Serbia Urged To Get Tough After Gang Killings
Serbian criminologist Dobrivoje Radovanovic has warned that Serbia must cooperate more effectively with Montenegro and step up its attempts to combat violent crime after another murder of a Montenegrin citizen in Belgrade.
"Better cooperation between Serbia and Montenegro would help," Radovanovic told BIRN.

Serbian actor Nebojsa Glogovac dies
BELGRADE - Serbian film, television and theatre actor Nebojsa Glogovac has died in Belgrade aged 49.
The award-winning actor was recently admitted to the Institute of Oncology, spurring reports that he was gravely ill.

Agreement reached on increasing minimum wage
The minimum labor cost in Serbia will be increased to RSD 143 (EUR 1.2) per hour, starting in 2017.
This is according to the president of the Serbian Association of Employers, Nebojsa Atanackovic.

BELGRADE - Serbian Deputy PM and Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic met with Swedish Minister for Justice and Migration Morgan Johansson in Stockholm on Tuesday to discuss the migrant crisis.
Stefanovic said there were 8,000-9,000 migrants in Serbian territory and that a clear, precise plan of EU member states was needed to solve this issue.

BELGRADE - A photograph from a gynecological clinic in Belgrade has prompted rumors that Serbian tennis player Ana Ivanovic might be pregnant.
Gynecologist Nebojsa Zecevic published on his Instagram profile a photograph from the office with the tennis player, who recently announced her retirement from tennis.
