The EU27 are divided on the Commission’s proposal

Moldova has set itself some ambitious targets as it races to meet the conditions set by the EU for the start of negotiation talks. But not everyone is impressed.

The Central Council of the ruling Social Democratic Union /SDSM/ in the Republic of North Macedonia unanimously supported the French proposal to start negotiations for the country's EU membership.
