Pandemic Effects: Some Students in Bulgaria Refuse to Return to In-person Classes

Not only has the pandemic led children to lose their motivation to study, but that has also been compounded by a new phenomenon of students refusing to return to  in-person learning at school. Other than that, the pandemic has not led to a larger than usual number of mental complaints among children and youths. 

Education Minister: I want schools to reopen as soon as possible, decision to be made following well-grounded analysis

Education Minister Sorin Cimpeanu told AGERPRES on Monday that he wants schools to return to in-person classes as soon as possible, but that this decision will be taken only based on a responsible and well-grounded analysis, which will primarily look at epidemiological developments.

Society is more mature

We have acquired a certain amount of know-how in crisis management and the memory of what can happen when we take leave of our senses en masse and succumb to emotion is all too raw.

The new challenge of the coronavirus finds the state and the Greeks better armed, more mature.
