Mitsotakis to make tax cuts a top priority
New Democracy leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis promised in an interview televised on Friday night a range of tax cuts, including a 30 percent reduction in the ENFIA property tax in the first two years of coming to power.

Bakoyannis says TV license auction unconstitutional
New Democracy heavyweight Dora Bakoyannis on Monday slammed a government auction of four private nationwide TV licenses as an unconstitutional effort by Greece's left-led government to deflect public attention from economic failures.
"[The government]… is trying to direct public attention away from pension cuts and tax hikes," the conservative MP told Alpha radio.
ND has time - it should use it well
It has only been a few months since Kyriakos Mitsotakis was elected leader of New Democracy even though pundits had him pegged as an outsider. A part of the conservative old guard has been unable to accept his victory. Maybe it's a generational thing, a feeling that Mitsotakis's advancement will relegate the previous generation to portraits on the walls at party headquarters.

Twelve ex Potami officials move to ND
Twelve former members of the centrist To Potami party on Thursday announced they were joining the ranks of Greece's conservative opposition.
"New Democracy, under Kyriakos Mitsotakis, is the only force that can spearhead an effective campaign… to reform Greece," the 12 said in a statement.
