Lesvos rattled by fresh earthquake of 4.9 Richter
The eastern Aegean island of Lesvos was rattled by an earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale just a few days after being rocked by a 6.1-magnitude temblor.
According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the quake occurred at around 5.50 a.m. local time and was at a depth of 13 kilometers. It also rattled other islands in the area and the western coast of Turkey.

Weak Earthquake Registered Nearby Devin
A 2 - magnitude earthquake is registered on the territory of Bulgaria, nearby Devin, reported BGNES.
The earthquake is felt at 10.19 am with an epicenter 6 km northeast of Devin, 32 km northwest of Smolyan and 136 km southeast of Sofia, with a depth of 15 km, the European Seismological Center said.
No information on damage from the quake has been provided yet.

5.5-magnitude earthquake hits Turkey's southeast
A 5.5-magnitude earthquake hit the southeastern province of Adıyaman on March 2, the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has announced.
The quake was followed by aftershocks at magnitudes of 4.2 and 4.4.

Italy: New earthquake in Central Italy – The 5,3 tremor was felt in Rome
Buildings in Rome and Florence were shaken by a new earthquake and its many aftershocks, bringing back memories of the disaster that hit the country a few months ago, that killed approximately 300 people.
The quake hit around 10.25am local time (9.5am BST).
According to La Repubblica the quake was also felt in Lazio, Abruzzo and Marche.
4.3-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Albania
A 4.3-magnitude earthquake rocked southern Albania on Saturday afternoon, reported Xinhua.
The epicentre of the quake is 17 km southwest of Argirokastro at a depth of 2 km.

Quake rocks Samos, aftershocks shake Ioannina
An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale hit the Aegean island of Samos early Monday, the Geodynamic Institute in Athens reported.
The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers below the seabed, some 17 km northeast of the island. There were no reports of injures or damage.

New Zealand begins final vote on whether to change its flag
New Zealanders have begun a final vote on whether to change their flag from a design which features the British Union Jack to one which features a native silver fern.
A postal ballot began March 3 and will extend over the next three weeks, with preliminary results to be announced March 24.
Magnitude 5.3 earthquake at Greek isle of Karpathos
An earthquake struck the Dodecanese island shortly after 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 26. The earthquake is estimated to be at 5.2 on the magnitude scale according to the Greek geodynamic institute, though the Euro-Mediterranean Institute places it at 5.4.
The focal point is 32 km east, osutheast of Karpathos and is of 10 km depth.
