Stavros Niarchos Foundation supports Penn education program
The University of Pennsylvania on Thursday announced a 6-million-dollar gift to launch the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Paideia Program, inspired by the ancient Greek ideals for education.
Aimed at the university's undergraduate students, the program is designed to encourage informed civil discourse.

Visitors to SNFCC reach 5.3 million in 2018
One in two Athenians, or 5.3 million people, visited the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center last year, based on a survey conducted by QED and presented by Kathimerini.
Visitors said they were attracted by the park and the various cultural and environmental activities.

Harpsichord Debut | Athens | February 15
The Greek National Opera has a new harpsichord thanks to a generous donation by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and on Friday, February 15, there will be a special introductory performance for which admission will be free with priority coupons. Conductor and harpsichordist Markellos Chryssicos will present a unique recital featuring standard repertory and new works.

Overcoming opposition
