Mitsotakis to meet Guterres, Anastasiades, Mondi on Thursday
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' program in New York on Thursday begins with a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at 9.40 a.m. (local time).
He will then meet with Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades and at 12.30, he will meet with India's counterpart Narendra Modi.
Anastasiades to visit Athens next week
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades will visit Athens on September 10 to discuss with Greek counterpart Kyriakos Mitsotakis the next steps ahead of a possible resumption of negotiations on the Cyprus issue.
Anastasia's briefed Mitsotakis on his talks with Jane Hall Lute, the United Nations special envoy on Cyprus.

Anastasiades and Akinci willing to meet in New York
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades and Turkish-Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci reportedly expressed their readiness Friday to resume talks in New York next month along with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The two men held an informal meeting Friday at the residence of the UN's special representative Elizabeth Spehar in the United Nations buffer zone in Nicosia.
