For 1st month ever, streamers rule broadcast, cable networks
This summer has been a breakthrough for streaming, with the time viewers spent watching services like Netflix and Hulu outpacing broadcast and cable television networks in July for the first month ever.
Turks spend more than 4 hours watching TV last year
Turks spent four hours and 33 minutes on average watching TV last year, which is well above the world's average of two hours and 54 minutes, according to a recent study conducted by the Television Watching Research Company (TİAK).
The corresponding figure for Europe was three hours and 54 minutes.
More households could easily make ends meet in 2020, statistics show
Ljubljana – The share of Slovenian households having no problems making ends meet rose from 18% in 2019 to 21% in 2020. The share of those having a hard time living through the month on their wages remained unchanged at 20%, whereas 31% of the households had “minor problems”, Statistics Office (SURS) data show.

Since the clashes in southeast Turkey began, two important things have happened in the entertainment world. 1) Total ignorance and disillusionment 2) Punishing the reality. That is how viewers have been reacting to the realities of Turkey, these days. Pretend it doesn't exist. Think of it as it is gone. When you open your eyes, it will disappear.
