BELGRADE -- Russian film director Nikita Mikhalkov received at the Belgrade City Hall on Friday the charter of the honorary citizen of Belgrade.
Belgrade Mayor Sinisa Mali and city assembly president Nikola Nikodijevic presented the charter, the first one to be given to an artist.

BELGRADE - Famous Oscar-winning US actor Richard Dreyfuss was awarded the Golden Stamp of the Yugoslav Film Archive on Tuesday for his overall contribution to cinematography.
Dreyfuss is the 32nd laureate of the award, which was presented to him by Yugoslav Film Archive Director Radoslav Zelenovic.

BELGRADE -- Austrian writer Peter Handke, Russian filmmaker Nikita Mikhalkov, and Norwegian politician Thorvald Stoltenberg have been named honorary citizens of Belgrade.
All councilors groups in the Serbian capital city's assembly supported the decision, although the Democratic Party (DS) voiced some criticism.

BELGRADE - The 8th international film and music festival Kustendorf will be held in Drvengrad on Mokra Gora from January 21 to 26.
The competitive programme will comprise 17 movies from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Holland, Iceland, Romania, Israel, Croatia, Germany, Belgium, France, Hungary, Egypt, Russia, the USA and Serbia and the awards will bew the gold, silver and bronze eggs.
