Tapes Reveal Bid to Snatch Macedonian Opposition Bastion
At a press conference in the southeastern town of Strumica on Wednesday, the opposition Social Democratic party, SDSM presented more tapes that point to election fraud on the part of government officials and their associates.

Macedonia's Embattled Govt May Boost Ranks
The Democratic Union for Integration, DUI, which is part of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski's ruling coalition, said on Monday that its leader had not discussed with the Macedonian premier the possibility of its rival, the opposition Democratic Party of Albanians, DPA, joining the government which is currently under fire over mass wiretapping allegations.

Macedonia PM Rallies Supporters After Wiretap Scandal
Speaking in front of thousands of supporters of his main ruling centre-right VMRO DPMNE party in Skopje on Sunday, the embattled Gruevski repeated his claims that criminal allegations made against him by the country's opposition have been "created" by unnamed foreign intelligence services and their domestic collaborators in order to destabilize Macedonia.

The opposition Social Democrats held a press conference on Sunday to reveal a tenth batch of alleged wiretapped conversations, claiming that they show Gruevski's interests in acquiring land for construction land in the capital Skopje and in altering legal permits so that it can be more profitable.
