The Bansko Opera Fest continues with a performance of La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini tonight, a production of the State Opera - Stara Zagora, Magdalena Sotirova, organiser of the event, told Focus Radio - Pirin. The show starts at 08:30pm in Nikola Vaptsarov square. It is a production worth seeing more than once or twice, Sotirova commented.

A sailing boat race begins on Thursday from the Black Sea port of Constanta, with two top-class sailing boats from Bulgaria departing from Varna.

The SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta, one of the world's top sailing-boat races, this year includes the ports of Varna, Russia's Sochi and Novorossiysk, and Romania's Constanta.

Two women have been injured when a crane crashed onto a petrol station in Sofia, the Ministry of the Interior said on Thursday.

The incident took place around 6.30 p.m. EEST (1530 GMT) at a petrol station on Nikola Vaptsarov Blvd in Lozenets district, in the southern part of the city.

The two women were taken to hospital, the ministry said in a statement.

The 14-th edition of the Bansko Film Fest starts on November 25 in Bansko's community centre "Nikola Vaptsarov".

The 17-th edition of the popular International Jazz Festival starts in Bulgaria's mountain resort town Bansko on Friday.

The concerts are free for the public and the festival is organised with the aid of sponsors.
