The Construction of a Railway Section between North Macedonia and Bulgaria has been Launched

The Prime Ministers of Bulgaria and the Republic of North Macedonia, Galab Donev and Dimitar Kovachevski, launched the construction of the railway line from Kumanovo to Beljakovce in our southwestern neighbor. The line should reach the border with Bulgaria and is part of the trans-European corridor number 8 - a project more than two decades old.

Crane Crashes down onto Petrol Station in Sofia, Injuring Two People

Two women have been injured when a crane crashed onto a petrol station in Sofia, the Ministry of the Interior said on Thursday.

The incident took place around 6.30 p.m. EEST (1530 GMT) at a petrol station on Nikola Vaptsarov Blvd in Lozenets district, in the southern part of the city.

The two women were taken to hospital, the ministry said in a statement.

14-th Bansko Film Fest Starts On November 25

The 14-th edition of the Bansko Film Fest starts on November 25 in Bansko's community centre "Nikola Vaptsarov".

The festival will offer 120 films - feature films and documentaries - for extreme sports and adventures from around the world, as well as presentations, exhibitions, sports demonstrations and a children's programme.
