State broadcaster refuses to air Golden Dawn leader's speech
Workers at Greek state broadcaster ERT will be walking off the job on Friday evening in a strike scheduled to coincide with a pre-election speech by far-right Golden Dawn leader Nikos Michaloliakos.
In an announcement earlier in the day, their union, POSPERT, said that the broadcaster would be showing reruns between 7 and 9 p.m. in protest at the party's "Nazi sermons of hate."
The protracted crisis and descent of Golden Dawn
Greece's Golden Dawn sustained significant losses in the two recent election races in Greece. In its former stronghold of Laconia in the Peloponnese, the neo-Nazi party lost more than 50 percent of the support it had in the 2014 European Parliament elections in last month's contest.

Supreme Court deputy prosecutor Panagiotis Brakoumatsos has challenged a ruling by an Athens court that cleared Nikos Michaloliakos, the leader of neo-Nazi Golden Dawn, of incitement to criminal behavior, it emerged on Wednesday.
Golden Dawn protests Athens mosque plans
Several hundred supporters of Greece's extreme right Golden Dawn party staged a protest near central Athens on Wednesday evening against plans to build a state-funded mosque in the Greek capital.
Authorities used riot police buses to block roads near the construction site during the rally, which ended with no reported arrests.

Anti-fascist rally planned outside court
