Court Tells Election Commission to Register Barekov's Party Under Name of His Choice
The Supreme Administrative Court has instructed the Central Election Commission (CEC) to register the party of European deputy Nikolay Barekov for the upcoming snap elections on March 26 with the name he chooses himself.

Five Bulgarian MPs to Quit Party Group
Five Bulgarian lawmakers from the Bulgarian Democratic Center (BDC)'s parliamentary group are to submit their requests to leave it, one of the MPs has said.
BDC was set up by lawmakers who were previously part of a coalition led by MEP Nikolay Barekov and made it into Parliament within an alliance led by his Bulgaria without Censorship party.

MEP Claims to Have 'Co-organized' Bulgaria's Summer Protests in 2013
Nikolay Barekov, a Bulgarian MEP, said on Tuesday he organized anti-government street protests in the summer of 2013 alongside now ruling GERB party of PM Boyko Borisov.
GERB, which was in opposition at the time, has openly admitted to having sent dozens of activists in front of the Parliament's building in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Fmr Barekov MPs Joining New Bulgarian Democratic Center Party
Lider, a Bulgarian party once entering a coalition led by MEP Nikolay Barekov, has now renamed itself Bulgarian Democratic Center.
Its new name coincides with that of the parliamentary group formed by MPs from Barekov's coalition last autumn, after the alliance came sixth in Bulgaria's Parliament.
