The UN Gives $ 1 Million to the Victims of Hurricane Dorian
One million dollars will be donated to the victims of Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas.
The funds are awarded by the United Nations through a special emergency fund.
So far, at least 20 people have been killed and, according to the World Organization, 70,000 need emergency humanitarian aid.
Five Killed in Bahamas After Dorian Hurricane
Five people have died in the Bahamas since the invasion of Hurricane Dorian. All the victims are on Abaco Island, which was the first in the fifth-degree storm.
According to the Red Cross, more than 13,000 residential buildings have been completely or partially destroyed.

Dozens of schools closed, ferries moored as cold front persists
Dozens of schools were closed in northern Greece, on Crete and in other parts on Monday as the Okeanis weather system continued to grip the country, bringing widespread snowfall and causing transport problems.
Ferries remained moored at Piraeus, Lavrio, Rafina and other ports as weathers reached 10 Beaufort in the Aegean.
Nearly 7700 US Flights Were Canceled Due to Bad Weather
Nearly 7700 US flights were canceled or postponed yesterday due to a winter storm.
Hundreds of flights have been hit at the busy international airports of New York and Chicago.
The worst is the situation at New York's La Guardia International Airport, where 497 flights were canceled and 89 flights were postponed, the BNR reported.
134 Snow Cleaning Machines Are Cleaning the Roads in the Capital
On the night of Thursday, due to the snowfall in Sofia, 134 machines were cleaning the roadways.
The municipality of Sofia reports that public transport is running on schedule, reported NOVA TV.

Nearly 440 snow removal machines are clearing the national roads in areas where it is snowing to ensure safe travel in winter conditions, said the press office of the Road Infrastructure Agency.
