Engineers have worked through the night to try to reconnect remaining homes and businesses that lost power during Storm Eleanor on Tuesday night.

Heavy snowfall traps bus in Peloponnese mountains
Heavy snowfall in the mountains of the northern Peloponnese on Friday caused numerous problems on the rural road network.
On the Pounta-Kalavryta road, a tour bus carrying 34 passengers and a number of cars were forced to halt for several hours in heavy snowfall as they waited for conditions to clear and allow them to continue their journeys safely.

A strong storm hit Novi Sad around noon on Thursday, resulting in the death of a woman who was killed when a tree feel on her car.
According to forecasts, the storm is expected to reach Belgrade around 14:00 hours CET.

Fresh snowfall paralyzes Istanbul traffic, density at 90 percent
Forecast snowfall and cold weather have badly affected Istanbul's rush-hour traffic, increasing the traffic density to up to 90 percent.
Breakdowns and small-scale accidents brought traffic to a near halt while a number of cars were slowed to a crawl on major highways.
The snowfall is forecast to last all night as well as Saturday.
