Serbs gather at protest rally in northern Kosovska Mitrovica
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Kosovo-Metohija Serbs gathered at a mass protest rally in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on Monday to call on the international community to ban Pristina's unilateral decision to abolish the Serbian dinar and point out that Serbs in the province were disenfranchised and deprived of the basic living conditions.
Petkovic: Kurti sparking new crisis in Kosovo-Metohija by land-grabbing
BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Friday that, by land-grabbing in a Serb-majority municipality, Pristina PM Albin Kurti's "occupation gauleiter" in northern Kosovska Mitrovica had taken a new step towards militarisation and occupation of the north of Kosovo-Metohija by Kurti's parapolice.
"KLA" sign put up on hill overlooking Kosovska Mitrovica
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - A sign reading "KLA" - short for "Kosovo Liberation Army" - has been erected on a hill overlooking Kosovska Mitrovica.
The large red sign can be seen on the Crnusa hill, designated by local authorities in the southern, ethnic Albanian-populated part of Kosovoska Mitrovica as the site of a new Kosovo Security Force base, the RTS reported.
The new president of the Serb List was elected
The session will be held starting at 12 o'clock at the party's headquarters, on Kralj Petar I street in Kosovska Mitrovica, Serb List announced.
Elek was elected at the assembly of the Serb List, which has been held in North Mitrovica.
Dr Elek is the director of KBC Kosovska Mitrovica, and he will replace Goran Rai as President of Srpska Lista.

Two Serbs arrested in north of Kosovo-Metohija
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Two Serbs were arrested in the north of Kosovo-Metohija on Wednesday.
Ilija Elezovic was arrested in Kosovska Mitrovica, his son Nikola confirmed to Tanjug, adding that the arrest had taken place near a local secondary school this morning.
"We have not been told why he was arrested or where he is," Nikola Elezovic said.

Kosovo Serbs Protest Arrests of Serbs Suspected of Attacking Journalists

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui, spoke about the latest information from Kosovo and Metohija, after the arrest of members of the Kosovo police on the territory of Serbia.
He also spoke about the ban on the import of Serbian goods to Kosovo and Metohija.

After the Kosovo police arrested another Serb, a large number of Serbs gathered at the crossing between the northern and southern parts of Kosovo's Mitrovica, while the Kosovo police were on the southern side.
A cannon shot was also heard from the south side of the city.
The situation is currently calm, but tense, and the sirens in North Mitrovica are still sounding.
