Kosovo police official arrested on terrorism charges
The Serbian police have arrested the director of the Kosovo police for the region of Kosovska Mitrovica, Nehat Thaci.
The Serbian Interior Ministry (MUP) confirmed this on Thursday morning.

Police block street in north KM over "suspicious suitcase"
The Kosovo police on Monday morning blocked a street in the Bosnjacka Mahala neighborhood of northern Kosovska Mitrovica.
This came after a suitcase, suspected of containing explosives, was found there. But the object, which the police destroyed "using a small amount of explosives," turned out to be empty.
Kosovo, Serbia Failing to Implement Normalisation Deal
The failure to implement the agreements negotiated so far is causing continued hardship for both Albanians and Serbs living in Kosovo, says the report published on Tuesday by the BIG DEAL initiative which involves BIRN Kosovo, Internews Kosova and the Advocacy Centre for Democratic Culture from northern Mitrovica.
Kosovo: Islamic State graffiti sprayed on Serb homes
Islamic State (IS, ISIS) graffiti have been sprayed on Serb homes in ethnically mixed neighborhoods in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, the police have confirmed.
Regional Kosovo police chief Zeljko Bojic told Beta on Friday that the graffiti spelling "ISIS" were found "in his area of responsibility," and that about ten of them have been discovered over the past week.

Progress made during Kosovo round, no agreements reached
Aleksandar Vucic has said there had been no agreement regarding a future community of Serb municipalities during today's round of Belgrade-Pristina talks.
There was no final agreement on telecommunications, energy and Peace Park in Kosovska Mitrovica, either, during the negotiations in Brussels on Tuesday.
Kosovo Serbs Rush to be Judges in the North
Following reports that no one had applied for newly vacant post in the justice system in the north of Kosovo, around 80 candidates have now applied for positions, including some previously employed in the Serbian-financed and operated so-called "parallel" court system.
