KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - President of the Northern Mitrovica Municipal Assembly Ksenija Bozovic stated on Friday that the accounts of four northern Kosovo municipalities with majority Serb population have been blocked for a week now without any explanation or written notification by the Pristina government.
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - An unidentified individual threw a hand grenade in the downtown of northern Kosovska Mitrovica and although certain damage was done, nobody was injured in the incident.
The blast occurred in front of a confectionery of a Gorani owner in the main street early on Saturday, around 6.30 a.m.
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Employees of the Police Department in Kosovska Mitrovica who have not been integrated into the Kosovo Police Service following the signing of the Belgrade-Pristina agreement in Brussels staged a protest in front of the building of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) on Monday.
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Mayor of Serb-majority North Mitrovica Goran Rakic does not have a police escort any more, regional operations chief of Kosovo police Zeljko Bojic told Tanjug.
Bojic specified that the main police directorate based in Pristina decided to scrap the police escort service for Rakic on February 2.
BRUSSELS - Another round of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina was finished in Brussels early Tuesday morning with the result that an agreement on judiciary was initialed, ensuring participation of Serb judges in trials in north Kosovo, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic told reporters.
"Serbia's property can't be taken without asking"
BELGRADE -- The Serbian government is "acting responsibly over the Trepca case and other property issues in Kosovo and Metohija, Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic has said.
"Everyone must understand that they cannot take away everything from Serbia without asking anything," Tanjug quoted him as saying on Sunday.
