Kosovo: Serb List wins in 9 out of 10 Serb municipalities

The Serb (Srpska) List has declared victory in Sunday's local elections "in all municipalities with a Serb majority in Kosovo and Metohija."

According to the Serb List and the preliminary results, its leader and candidate for mayor of northern Kosovska Mitrovica Goran Rakic has also won convincingly.

Kosovo Albanians, Serbs Fear for Trepca Mine's Future

Kosovo Serb Leader Blames Arson On Political Enemies

Kosovo Serb politician Oliver Ivanovic, head of the Freedom, Democracy, Justice Party, said that his politics are the reason why unknown perpetrators set fire to his car in the divided northern town of Mitrovica.

"Some people obviously find my views unpleasant," Ivanovic told a press conference on Friday.

OSCE: Kosovo-Metohija turnout by 6 pm at 32.57 pct

KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - According to figures released by the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), 32.57 pct of registered voters in Kosovo-Metohija have voted in the Serbian presidential elections by 6 pm on Sunday.

OSCE Mission in Kosovo head Jan Braathu said in Kosovska Mitrovica earlier the elections were proceeding without trouble.
