The atmosphere at last Monday's meeting between the two deputy foreign ministers of Greece and Turkey, Alexandra Papadopoulou and Burak Akcapar, respectively, was, as expected between two experienced diplomats, very good.

An air directive (notam) for the banning of Russian aircraft flights in the National Airspace of Greece, was issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), after the decision of the European Union to close its airspace to the Russian Federation.

The directive will last for three months and is valid from today, Monday 28 February 2022.

The United Kingdom has been added to the list of non-EU countries from which citizens are allowed entry to Greece as of next week, the Civil Aviation Authority said in its latest notam on Saturday.
