Pajtic: AER conference contributes to Serbia's EU prospects
NOVI SAD - Summer Academy of the Assembly of European Regions (AER), which gathered around 100 participants from 20 countries in Novi Sad on Monday, serves as an important recommendation for Serbia's EU accession, said Bojan Pajtic, Prime Minister of the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina.
International Novi Sad Literature Festival opens on Aug 25
BELGRADE - The 9th International Novi Sad Literature Festival will take place from August 25 to 29, the Association of Writers of Vojvodina announced on Friday.
During the four-day festival, authors from Serbia and abroad will read their poetry and prose at an open-air venue in downtown Novi Sad and take part in panel discussions on modern literature.

Novi Sad to host Brazilian culture event for fifth time
NOVI SAD – The northern Serbian city of Novi Sad will host Days of Brazil (Dani Brazila) - Novi Sad Samba Carnival on August 15-17 and present itself as regional center of Brazilian culture for the fifth consecutive year, the city's cultural center has said in a release.

BELGRADE -- The Google Street View service has become available in Serbia, the U.S. internet giant has announced.
As of Thursday, users could take a virtual walk through the streets of Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad, "and find certain locations more easily," Tanjug reported.

EXIT raises EUR 140,000 for flood victims
BUDVA -- A total of over EUR 140,000 was raised for flood victims in the region at a humanitarian event held during the two-day Sea Dance festival.
The event represents "second part" of the EXIT music festival, held this year in Novi Sad, Serbia and in Budva, Montenegro.

260.000 people joined in EXIT Adventure
NOVI SAD - This year's EXIT Festival and Sea Dance Festival, comprising the seven-day EXIT Adventure event, drew more than 260,000 revelers, EXIT's director Dusan Kovacevic told Tanjug.
