Moldova Gives Europeans Stake in Gambling Industry
Moldova's Public Property Agency, APP, will no longer hold a monopoly on gambling and lotteries in the country, as the state announced plans to implement a public-private partnership project with two EU companies.
The first contract, relating to slot machines, has been won by Novo Gaming M Technologies GmbH, part of the Austria's Novomatic consortium operating.

OPAP says 1,000 self-service betting terminals up and running
Listed betting company OPAP announced on Thursday that 1,000 self-service betting terminals (SSBTs) are now operational, and its new digital platform is on track for launch in the first quarter of 2018.
OPAP picks Betgenius, Novomatic, BGT Sports as partners
London-based gaming services provider Betgenius will supply Greece-based OPAP, Europe's fourth biggest betting firm, with a new sportsbook platform, OPAP said on Wednesday.
Betgenius will also become OPAP's primary provider of in-play data, delivering fully automated, real-time data for around 130,000 sports events annually for the next two years.
