Minister announces rollout of special helicopter to fight fire
Preddvor – Visiting the site of a recent massive wildfire in northern Slovenia on Tuesday, Defence Minister Matej Tonin said that in the future the ministry would dedicate a special helicopter to be on standby in case of fire.

Coronavirus infections down further
Ljubljana – Just over 800 new coronavirus infections were detected in Slovenia on Sunday as the downward trend continues. According to the Health Ministry, 179 patients are in hospitals due to Covid, including 28 in intensive care. Four Covid patients died yesterday after no data was released for Saturday and Friday.

Covid daily case count dips to one-month low
Ljubljana – Another 899 people tested positive for coronavirus in Slovenia on Saturday, down 28% from the same day a week ago, as the coronavirus case count keeps falling. This is the lowest daily tally of infections since early March. The National Institute of Public Health estimates 36,740 people are actively infected in the country, down 613 from the estimate on the previous day.

Over two-month low in Covid cases confirmed on Sunday
Ljubljana – A total of 656 coronavirus test samples returned positive in Slovenia on Sunday for the lowest daily figure since mid-December after another two-month low in coronavirus cases was confirmed the day before, show fresh official data.

The number of new cases of coronavirus worldwide has fallen by 21 percent in the last week, the third consecutive decline in COVID-19 infections, the World Health Organization (WHO) said in its weekly report, quoted by the Associated Press.
COVID-19 in Bulgaria: Easing of Measures begins on Thursday
Covid's measures in Bulgaria will be gradually eased on Thursday, according to an order from the Ministry of Health. Restaurants and public events will become available without a green certificate at the discretion of the owners and organizers, extracurricular activities for children are also allowed with a limit of 12 children per group.
Two Dead in a Fire in Downtown Sofia
Fire in the center of Sofia. The fire broke out at around 5.30 a.m. this morning on the third floor of a building on Khan Asparuh Street. It quickly spread to higher floors.
It is believed that the reason for the fire to grow so fast is that the building is a joist.

EODY: 77 COVID-19 deaths, over 15,000 new infections in last 24 hours, 463 intubated
The National Public Health Organisation today announced 77 COVID-19 deaths and 15,305 new infections (33 detected at points of entry into the country) confirmed in the last 24 hours.
In Greece, 25,260 people have died of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, 95 percent with an underlying medical condition and/or age 70 or older.
Regular classes from Monday
This is the decision of the Team for monitoring and coordinating the application of preventive measures in the work of schools.
According to the data of the Institute of Public Health of Serbia "Dr Milan Jovanovi Batut", in the period from February 9 to 17, the number of sick children of school age from 6 to 18 was 3.200 (0.42 percent).
