The weather will be mostly sunny today. Clouds over eastern regions will quickly scatter and decrease. There will be light, in the eastern half of the country to moderate northern wind. Maximum temperatures will stand at 28° to 33°, in Sofia around 28°.

This is the weather forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), cited by FOCUS News Agency.

A massive earthquake of magnitude 7.8 shaked the North Pacific, between the Aleutian islands of Alaska and the Russian peninsula of Kamchatka, the Geophysical Institute of the United States said, quoted by world agencies.

The weather will be mostly sunny today with maximum temperatures of between 30° and 35°, in Sofia around 30°.

On the Black Sea coast, the weather will be sunny with maximum temperatures of 27°-29°, while the seawater temperature stands at 23-25°.

Today the weather will be sunny with high temperatures around noon and in the afternoon. There will be some clouds in the afternoon and evening, almost without rains. Light wind will blow from South-Southwest.
Maximum temperatures will stand at between 31° and 36°.

The waters of Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait will retain their turquoise color, caused by phytoplankton, until the end of June, Professor Bayram Öztürk from Istanbul University has stated.

Öztürk, from the university's aquaculture department, said the phytoplankton will remain prominent until the end of the month under current weather conditions.

A school of dolphins was photographed on June 18 swimming at Istanbul's Bosphorus Strait, which has recently been offering a feast for local eyes after its waters turned turquoise due to phytoplankton.

A significant part of the Black Sea has turned turquoise due to phytoplankton, a new picture from space shared by NASA showed June 12.

The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA's Aqua satellite first captured the phytoplankton bloom in the Black Sea on May 29. 

The weather will be mostly sunny today before noon. In the afternoon and until midnight, clouds will develop over Western and Central Bulgaria. There will be short rains, in some areas intense, with thunders and temporary strong wind. Hails are also possible.

Atmospheric pressure will be close to the average for June and will remain without significant changes.
