The organizers of the 2024 Athens Epidaurus Festival, which opens on June 1, presented on Tuesday the program for 2024, which includes 93 productions over 85 days and the participation of 2,500 performers and creators from around the world.

Monica Bellucci honored in Thessaloniki
Monica Bellucci attended the 64th Thessaloniki International Film Festival on Thursday night, where she was celebrated with an honorary Golden Alexander award.
The screening of her new film "Maria Callas: Letters and Memoirs" attracted large crowds outside the Olympion Theater on Wednesday evening, evidence of the mark she has left internationally through her career.

Woody Allen is Athens bound
American filmmaker, actor, and comedian Woody Allen will be in Athens next month to promote his new film "Coup de chance."
The screening, which will be introduced by the director himself, will take place on September 8 at Cine Aegli, the outdoor cinema at the Zappeion, as part of the 29th Athens International Film Festival Premiere Nights.

Bond film set for biggest opening at Odeon since summer 2019
London-based cinema operator Odeon said on Sept. 27 it has sold more than 175,000 tickets for the James Bond movie "No Time to Die" that is hitting the big screen this week after multiple delays wrought by the pandemic.

Dior channels ancient Greece for Cruise collection
French fashion house Dior will unveil its 2022 Cruise collection on Thursday, the first large show with spectators since the start of the Covid pandemic, at the site of the first modern Olympic Games in Athens.
Cruise collections fall between usual spring/summer and autumn/winter collections - and French houses often visit other countries for the launch.

Unfazed by recession, Hines continues its investment program
US real estate investment group Hines is showing no intention of suspending its ever expanding investment program in the Greek property market despite the upcoming recession, according to the head of Hines Greece, Paul Gomopoulos.
He told a recent Prodexpo video conference that "we will just adapt to conditions, which may even create new investment opportunities."
