BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic met with Hungarian Ambassador to Belgrade Jozsef Zoltan Magyar on Friday to inform him of the difficult political and security situation in Kosovo-Metohija, especially in the north of the province, which he said was threatening to jeopardise peace and stability across the region.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Tuesday that, as long as Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic was in office, Pristina's PM Albin Kurti would not succeed in expelling Serbs from the north of Kosovo-Metohija through unilateral actions and in changing the ethnic composition in the four Serb-majority municipalities there.

The main topic of the conversation was the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, and they also discussed ways to calm tensions on the ground and implement the agreements reached so far.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic met with the state secretary at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eivind Vad Petersson, on Friday to inform him in detail of a deterioration of the security situation in the province as a result of Albin Kurti's unilateral and violent moves.

As stated in their announcement, the arrest of Uro V. from Leposavic, which happened this morning, is a continuation of the torture of Albin Kurti, who uses all means to provoke a conflict with the peaceful Serbian people.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Wednesday he had spoken with German Ambassador to Belgrade Anke Konrad to convey additional concerns for the safety of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija as Pristina's PM Albin Kurti showed no readiness to de-escalate the situation on the ground.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Friday the responsibility to stop Pristina's PM Albin Kurti from causing war and conflicts and making provocations was now upon the international community.

''Last night around 10 p.m., unknown persons shot in the direction of the yard of Primary School "Ugljare", in the village of Ugljare, near Kosovo Polje in Kosovo and Metohija'', Aleksandar Trajkovi, President of the Provisional Body of the Municipality of Kosovo Polje, said for Tanjug.
According to Trajkovi, there were also children in the school yard at the time of the shooting.

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Tuesday that, following Monday's round of the Brussels dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, it was "clear as day" that Pristina had no intent of engaging in constructive discussions on a Community of Serb Municipalities or any other aspect of normalisation of relations.

The EU envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajak, made an announcement after talks with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vui, and the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
He stated that he talked with Vui and Petar Petkovi about further progress on the path of implementing the agreement.
