Number of building permits for residential buildings up 8.7pct in February

The number of building permits for residential buildings issued in February 2020 increased by 8.7 percent compared to the same month of 2019 and by 33.6 percent compared to January 2020, according to the data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INS) on Monday.

Daily Hürriyet has released an official statement after media organizations were banned from reporting on the parliamentary inquiry into corruption allegations concerning four former Cabinet ministers.
