Public Group on Tuesday said its 2023 sales exceeded 500 million euros, surpassing targets set for the year, and raised its operating profits.

In an announcement, Public Group said its 2023 performance confirmed the success of a long-term strategy focusing on investments, constantly upgrading its services, improving operations and developing its workforce.

More and more retailers are increasingly employing the so-called omnichannel strategy, utilizing modern technology means such as voice orders, simulators and chatbots.

'Black Friday', the next retail sales, will take place on November 25 this year and will include major offers, market representatives said, who also welcomed the end of the interim sales that used to take place in the beginning of November.

British firm JD Sports, one of the strongest companies in the sporting goods sector globally, acquired 80% of the Greek sportswear chain Cosmos Sport, in which the EOS Capital Partners fund of Apostolos Tamvakakis had recently invested.
