British pop phenom Ed Sheeran expressed joy and relief Thursday after a US jury found he did not plagiarize Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" in composing his hit "Thinking Out Loud," calling the ruling a win for creative freedom.
The English musician hugged his team inside a Manhattan federal courtroom after jurors ruled that he had "independently" created his 2014 song.

Lucic: Telekom's agreement with Microsoft to boost Serbian IT sector exports
BELGRADE - Telekom Srbija CEO Vladimir Lucic says a recent agreement on business and technical cooperation between Microsoft and Telekom Srbija's TS Ventures Fund will help to multiply the value of Serbian IT sector exports.
The agreement was signed on March 27.
Singer Ed Sheeran wins ’Shape of You’ copyright dispute
British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran on April 6 won his copyright trial at London's High Court after a judge ruled that his hit song "Shape of You" did not lift musical phrases from another track.
Judge Antony Zacaroli said that Sheeran "neither deliberately nor subconsciously" copied a phrase from British grime track, "Oh Why," when writing the worldwide smash hit.
